Meet our trailblazing superstar, Sari Freeman! Wonder woman of the travel industry, she is the Owner & Chief Sales & Marketing Strategist of the powerhouse Passages of Distinction. She truly believes that travel helps promote peace in the world, “by bringing people together to experience one another’s cultures, we create an understanding that we are
more the same than we are different.”

One of our favorite parts about spending time with Sari is her energy! She is a joy to be around. Always with a fresh creative idea, and always having fun with whatever is next on the agenda, we spent the day chatting with her about life, travel, and everything worth talking about.

As we strolled with Sari, she told us a bit about her life experiences. Named one of the 25 Top Leading Women Entrepreneurs in New Jersey, it should come as no surprise that she has a long history of innovating. Certainly, her incredible attitude and zest for life have formed a big part of her success as well!

Sari told us that she was passionate about languages and culture from an early age, learning French in Ontario, studying abroad in Provence, and picking up Spanish and Italian along the way. This love of communication, language, beautiful places and traditions set her up to be the travel maven that she is today.

We arrive at the Frederick Hotel Tribeca and step inside, talking about how she started her representation company when few others existed. It’s truly inspiring to hear about her fearless motivation in creating her business, something that would come to define a market.

“I am proud to say that in December, it will be 25 years since I started Sari Freeman Associates. That was the first name of my company. We live by our values of Honesty, Integrity, and Inspiration,” she told us.

“We are all about long-term relationships. Several of our hoteliers and DMC owners have worked with us for over 20 years, some 10. But we love the fact that we bring our clients in as a part of the Passages of Distinction family! We take them by the hand and guide and promote them to the best in the industry whether travel advisors or boutique operators.”

It’s hard to say goodbye to this beautiful face, but we leave so full of inspiration, determined to continue our own process of innovation, much like the brilliant Sari. Until our paths meet next time, Sari, we think you’re amazing!
