As we step out of the taxi, our eyes are immediately drawn to the striking architecture of Le Royal Monceau. The sleek and modern building stands tall against the Parisian skyline, making a bold statement in the heart of the city. We make our way towards the entrance, excited to experience what lies inside.

Stepping into the lobby, we are captivated by the dramatic design. It’s the work of famed designer Phillippe Starck, and every detail has been carefully considered. The space is filled with eclectic and whimsical touches, from the oversized chandelier made of Cristal Baccarat spoons to the artfully arranged stacks of books.

We are greeted warmly by Nicolas De Gols, the General Manager of the hotel. He welcomes us with a smile and leads us on a tour of the property, sharing stories about its rich history and unique features. As we walk, we can’t help but admire the stunning artwork that adorns the walls, including pieces by Andy Warhol and Keith Haring.

Our first stop is Matsuhisa, the hotel’s renowned Japanese restaurant. We are excited to sample the cuisine of Executive Chef Emanuele Bombardier. The menu is filled with creative and innovative dishes, each one more delicious than the last. We are particularly impressed by the sushi and sashimi, which are prepared with the utmost care and precision.

Next, we make our way to the most inviting suite in the hotel, the stunning Ray Charles Suite. The suite is a masterpiece of design, with luxurious furnishings, high-end finishes, and breathtaking views of the city. Elena Bustamante, the Director of Sales, shows us around the suite, pointing out its many features and amenities. We can’t help but feel like royalty as we take in the exquisite surroundings.

As we continue to explore Le Royal Monceau, we are delighted to encounter Alexandrine Pelat, the Director of Communications, looking très chic in her all-black ensemble. From the handpicked art pieces throughout the hotel to the exquisite culinary offerings, every aspect of the Royal Monceau has been carefully curated to create an unforgettable experience for guests. We couldn’t agree more, and as we continue on our journey, we can’t help but appreciate the thought and care that has gone into every corner of this glamorous property.

For dinner, we head to Il Carpaccio, the hotel’s Italian restaurant, where the tantalizing aromas of garlic, basil, and freshly baked bread greet us. The cuisine, helmed by chefs Oliver Piras and Alessandra Del Favero, is an absolute masterpiece. From the handcrafted pastas to the succulent meat dishes, every bite is a delight. It’s a sensory explosion of flavors that lingers on the palate long after the meal is over.

As we wind down our evening, we visit the hotel’s art conciergerie, La Librairie des arts, a unique and exclusive service that sets Le Royal Monceau apart from other luxury hotels. The art conciergerie is a haven for art enthusiasts, offering personalized guidance on the latest trends in contemporary art, insider access to exclusive exhibitions, and even private visits to some of the world’s most prestigious art collections. After leaving the art concierge, we bump into Norihisa Semboshi, the Executive Chef of La Cuisine, Le Bar Long, Room Service, Banquet, and Quentin Lechat, Pastry Chef. They are deep in conversation, discussing the latest menu offerings at the hotel’s various dining venues. Norihisa explains the importance of using only the freshest, highest-quality ingredients, and Quentin adds that the wine pairings are just as carefully selected as the dishes themselves.
