From the moment we arrived at COMO Parrot Cay, Turks and Caicos, we were giddy with excitement, enchanted by the stunning white sandy beaches and pristine surroundings. The air was filled with anticipation of the luxury and relaxation that awaited us on this 1000-acre private island resort, where two-thirds of the island remains untouched.
As we were about to hit the beach, we ran into Tapa Tibble, Managing Director – Americas. Tapa’s warmth and genuine smile made us feel instantly at home. He suggested we take a leisurely stroll around the grounds, an offer we couldn’t refuse and the perfect introduction to the island’s charm. We marveled at the beachfront houses and villas, each just steps from the sea.
Just then, Jessica Sarkin, Director of Sales & Marketing, approached us, in a beautiful painted floral skirt and white button down that was the most perfect look for that chic yet relaxed vibe that surrounded us. As we walked along the perfectly arranged lounge chairs and umbrellas, it was clear this was our own slice of barefoot luxury paradise.
Later, when we spotted Jessica again, she had changed into a sky blue dress that mirrored the beautiful clear skies above us. It was a perfect embodiment of the understated elegance that defines COMO Parrot Cay. We gazed out over the water and talked about the mission of COMO Parrot Cay.
Wait, is that supermodel Linda Evangelista?! Nope, just Jessica stealing glances and hearts, looking like a blue dream.
Speaking of blue dreams, who else was there but Edward Butler coming in after a bike ride in the surrounding lush jungle. The director of Marine Science & Sustainability was looking cool in every way with his long sleeve blue jean button down and khaki shorts. He reminded us of all the fantastic ways we can responsibly interact with nature around us while enjoying what it has to give in sustainable ways.
We continued down the boardwalk and were absolutely beside ourselves when we ran into Treco Williams, Sales and Marketing Executive, who has the absolute best energy. Another fantastic member of the team and one who doesn’t stay behind in style with his salmon top and gray jeans. We’re loving the color combo.
Speaking of color combo, Tendra Musgrove, Director of Private Estates, was next to grace us with her presence and was looking totally pretty in pink. A stunning necklace as an accent piece went around her neck, but nothing shone as bright as her smile. We talked with Tendra about the villas, mere steps from the sea, and what makes a place truly luxurious.
Luxury might be subjective but one thing’s for sure: COMO gets it. All of the beach houses, villas and multi-room residences have their own private pools and direct access to their iconic white sand beach. The perfect place to sink into deep relaxation and rejuvenation.
Back at the main property, we were lucky enough to bump into Yoga Sugiharta, AKA the butler. But Yoga’s not just any butler, his modern, sleek style sets him apart, and his impeccable service epitomizes the exceptional standards of COMO butler services.
You won’t find butler service like at COMO, but you don’t have to take our word for it, COMO is an award winning private-resort for a reason.
One of the top award winning reasons is COMO Parrot Cay’s holistic approach towards the services they offer and those experts offering those services… Wait, did someone say serve? Because if there’s a good serve to be seen it’s that of one of our fave tennis pros: Stevan Bojovic. Luxury isn’t just beach and relaxation, it’s also about getting to experience new things with amazing people, and a match with Stevan is just that.
Last, but never least, it was time to chat with Jane Tibble, Digital Media Manager, who rounded out our tour. She was serving French Cinema actress looks with her white ensemble and silver jewels. Together with Tapa we strolled along barefoot enjoying the majestic views and relishing in all the hard work, and the magnificent fruit of their labors.
As our day came to a close, Tapa bid us farewell with a knowing smile, “See you soon!” His confidence that we would return was well-placed; COMO Parrot Cay had woven its spell, ensuring it’ll never truly be goodbye.
