A myriad of marvelous spaces beckon to us throughout the private grounds, and we learn that’s precisely their intention! Inviting guests to soak up different eye-pleasing views by dining in different gorgeous venues during their stay. 

Arrival is so sweet. Received in one of their beautiful SUVs, we arrive in the abundant rich foliage where their Assistant Manager, the angelic Xochitl Gallardo, is waiting with refreshing welcome amenity and fragrant flowers. She is an expert curator of impeccable guest experiences, ensuring seamless flow of logistics, and a uniquely tranquil experience.

It’s no surprise that we happen upon golf superstar, Mike O´Hara, the property’s seasoned GM. Having worked at some of the top five star resorts in Mexico, USA and Turks & Caicos, Mike makes magic of managing his staff of 17 full-time employees, the people who make this amazing property come alive. I mean, did we mention that this is an exclusive-use resort?! It’s almost too good to be true. Kinda like Mike’s latest golf win … 3rd place in the Men´s category of Punta Mita´s Gourmet & Golf tournament. Must be why we found him on the Tale of The Whale islet/signature hole on their course!

Now talk about a splash of color and joy! We encounter the sunny Yazmin David, her beautiful smile beaming. She’s in charge of creating artistic and inspiring in-house floral arrangements. An event producer as well, she’s a bastion of good taste and a lover of vibrant colors.

Well, with all this joy, we are ready to celebrate! How about a sumptuous and refreshing cocktail? Um, yes please! Fernando Vazquez is a true artist and we love to leave the mixology up to him. An expert in fresh regional ingredients, his cocktails knocked our socks clean off.  (Wait, did we have socks on? We are just too relaxed to remember …)

Yes! It must be time to eat and what better time to celebrate when Chef Edher Cervantes is at the helm. Hailing from Mexico City, he worked under the tutelage of Enrique Olvera, and has called Riviera Nayarit home for many years. He loves to work with the freshest ingredients, like a scrumptious catch of the day, and abundant fruits & vegetables. Local and Mexican flavors with a French twist are his forte. It’s time to put the final touches on our gourmet dish – which we can’t wait to taste!

And let’s be honest, it doesn’t matter how full you are when a dish as mouth-watering as this comes your way. Forget resisting and dig in, savoring every delicious bite. Alvaro Canales, with over 10 years tenure at Palmasola, is delighted to serve you, passionate about providing top service to his guests, always with a warm smile.

As the sun begins to set, we get the chance to chat with Ruben Luna. He assists the Chef in selecting the perfect wines to pair with any and every flavor, as well as assisting in producing events. He also happens to be an expert at champagne sabering. Well, we don’t mind if we do!

It must be time to relax in our rooms for a bit. That’s where we meet the effervescent Bertha Hernandez. After 12 years working at Palmasola, her attention to detail is impeccable. She is truly the creator of their delightful turn down rituals, which include a one-of-a-kind gift – earrings designed especially for Palmasola by Iker Ortiz, a young and very creative Mexican jeweler.

And before we say Hasta Pronto, we get the chance to chat with the sales saavy and divinely ravishing Lillian Aviles, their Director of Sales & Marketing. With over 15-years experience in Business Development, Marketing & PR, she is an unstoppable mover & shaker, passionate about showcasing Palmasola to the forefront of luxury travel.
